Head of School

Shireen Ali

With over 20 years of experience in education and psychology, Shireen Ali is dedicated to creating joyful, inclusive learning environments where children feel seen, supported, and inspired to grow—academically, socially, and emotionally. As a mother of two children who attended Montessori school through first grade, she brings both professional expertise and personal insight to her work.

Shireen holds dual Master’s degrees in Special Education and General Education, as well as a Master’s in Clinical Applied Behavioral Psychology. Her academic background informs a holistic approach to education, allowing her to support diverse learners with empathy, evidence-based strategies, and a deep understanding of child development.

Her work is also informed by ongoing research in movement and learning, with a particular focus on enhancing speech and language development through physical activity. She integrates these principles into classroom practice, helping children build communication skills while engaging their bodies and minds in meaningful ways.

As Director of Learning and Development, Shireen collaborates with teachers, families, and staff to design programs that blend Montessori principles with hands-on STEAM learning. Her initiatives often include robotics, bilingual education, and project-based exploration—each crafted to spark curiosity and build confidence.

Beyond the classroom, Shireen leads staff development, aligns operations with educational goals, and fosters strong parent partnerships. She is known for her calm leadership, thoughtful communication, and commitment to building inclusive, joyful school communities. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Urdu, she brings cultural sensitivity and a global perspective to every initiative.

Shireen’s work is grounded in excellence, empathy, and a belief in the transformative power of education.

Head of Curriculum

Uzma Jaffar

I am thrilled to introduce myself as the Head of Instruction at Tomorrow’s Hope Montessori School. My passion for education is fueled by a lifelong commitment to igniting a love of learning in children through dynamic, hands-on experiences and innovative STEAM activities, all grounded in the Montessori method—a child-centered approach that inspires independence, cultivates curiosity, and empowers children to learn at their own pace.

My Montessori journey spans across the globe, where I have had the privilege of teaching and learning in diverse cultural settings. This worldwide experience has deepened my understanding of how Montessori principles can be adapted to nurture every child’s unique potential while honoring their individuality.

My connection to Montessori is also deeply personal—my daughter was once a student in my own Montessori classroom, and years later, I had the joy of teaching my grandchildren in that same setting. Watching three generations flourish through this approach has only deepened my belief in its transformative power.

At Tomorrow’s Hope, we blend the Montessori method with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) to create a vibrant, holistic learning environment. Our approach nurtures the whole child, ensuring they not only excel academically but also develop creativity, critical thinking, independence, and resilience.

We celebrate the uniqueness of each child, recognizing that they learn at their own pace. We assess their strengths and potential, tailoring our approach to foster growth in the most meaningful way. Our classrooms are designed to spark curiosity, encourage exploration, and cultivate a genuine love for learning.

Every day in our school is an adventure—one where children embrace challenges with joy, ask thoughtful questions, and discover the excitement of learning. I am deeply passionate about guiding this journey, partnering with you to ensure your child thrives in our stimulating and supportive environment.

Head of Operations

Nasiree Ali

Since joining Tomorrow’s Hope Montessori, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to grow both personally and professionally. In my role as Head of Operations, I have been able to leverage and develop my skills in school operations, staff management, communication, financial oversight, and community engagement. My previous experience in restaurant management has translated seamlessly into this role, equipping me with excellent skills in team leadership, operational efficiency, conflict resolution, and creating exceptional experiences for staff and clients alike. My expertise has helped streamline processes, foster a positive school culture, and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

One of the greatest joys of my role is seeing the children grow each week—watching their personalities blossom, their skills develop, and their curiosity deepen is something I look forward to every day.

Looking ahead, my long-term goal is to continue growing within Tomorrow’s Hope Montessori by taking on additional leadership and mentorship opportunities. I hope to deepen my understanding of Montessori education, support both new staff and families, and play a meaningful role in shaping a nurturing, inclusive space where every child thrives. Being part of this community has inspired me to see this work not just as a job, but as a calling—and I am excited to continue contributing to the growth and success of our school.

Tonima Mastura

Hello! I was born in Bangladesh and I came to the United States with my family when I was 2 years old. I am a creative, bubbly person and get along with almost everyone. I have years of experience working in management, sales, retail, and early education. In my free time, I enjoy painting, putting on makeup, and dancing.

I used to manage many retail stores as well as an art studio. I was a painting instructor for years and I love to teach others, especially children. It is so fulfilling working with kids and seeing how they view the world through their lens. I love all their little unique personalities and cannot wait to work with them more.

I look forward to learning more about the Montessori school philosophy and doing things the Montessori way.
