Our focus in the Infant Room is to support each child’s individual needs through attentive, personalized care. The classroom environment is thoughtfully prepared with materials designed to stimulate the senses, encourage manipulation, and foster natural, developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
Key curriculum areas in the Infant Room include language development—such as engaging in conversation, singing, reading books, babbling, vocalizing, and sound repetition—and practical life skills, which support independence and motor development (e.g., grasping, rolling over, squeezing, using fingers, pulling up, and crawling). The Infant Room curriculum is guided by the Georgia Early Learning and Development Standards (GELDS) as outlined by Bright from the Start (BFTS).
